It's a pasta machine, according to the name on the side. It runs forward and reverse, makes a lot of noise, and weighs quite a bit. It must be powerful. The clear "bowl" comes off, and the impeller thingy has a square end that is driven by a square socket. The motor inside is cooled by a fan, which exhausts out the grill in the front. I guess that's so when you overload it, you'll see it smoking right away. It came with no instructions, but the switch on the side is labeled "MIX OFF EXTRUDE". I paid $2.98 at the thrift store. What a deal!
Why did I drag it home?
